A10 still closed for emergency repairs after crash leaves oil spillage

A Cambridgeshire road remains closed on Saturday morning (August 26) after a crash. The crash between a lorry and a car left an oil spillage on the A10 on Friday afternoon (August 25).

The road is closed for emergency repairs in both directions between the landfill turn-off at Stretham and the Little Thetford turn-off. Traffic monitoring site Inrix said the southbound closure extends back to the A142 roundabout at Ely[1].

“Affecting traffic between Stretham and Ely following a crash yesterday afternoon, which left an oil spillage on the road,” according to Inrix. “The southbound closure extends back to the A142 roundabout at Ely.”
