A30 crash: Two in hospital after caravan overturns in bus collision
Two people have been taken to hospital following a collision that saw a caravan overturn on the A30[1], near Temple, Cornwall.
The incident happened just before 2pm today (August 14) and saw the caravan collide with a bus on the eastbound carriageway.
Police, fire and paramedics attended the scene. Although no injuries were reported the two occupants of the caravan were taken to the Royal Cornwall Hospital[2] for precautionary reasons. The A30 was later reopened at 3.45pm
A Devon and Cornwall Police[4] spokesperson said: “This RTC was reported to us just after 2pm today, 14 August. The collision involved a bus and a large motor caravan on the A30 eastbound near Temple, Bodmin[5]. The motor caravan overturned and ended on its side.
“Fire and ambulance crews were also in attendance. There were no injuries but the two occupants of the caravan went to Treliske to be checked over.”
