Four rushed to hospital after bus and van crash on major road
Four people have been taken to hospital after a bus and a van crashed into each other on a major road.
Emergency services rushed to the A77 near Newton Mearns in East Renfrewshire on Monday at around 5.40pm.
An ambulance arrived at the scene, near the Kingswell roundabout, and four people were taken to hospital.
The A77 remains closed.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 5.40pm on Monday police received a report of a two-vehicle crash involving a bus and a van on the A77 near the Kingswell roundabout.
“Emergency services are in attendance and four people have been taken to hospital for treatment.”
