Live: M5 crash near Tewkesbury closes motorway

A crash on the M5 in Worcestershire is causing congestion to traffic at Tewkesbury. The motorway has been closed in the northbound direction at junction 8.

According to traffic monitoring system Inrix, the collision invovled a car and a van. Congestion extends to junction 9 at Tewkesbury.

Inrix reports: “M5 Northbound closed, queueing traffic due to accident, a van and a car involved at J8 M50. Congestion to J9 (Tewkesbury). Traffic is using the M50 roundabout underneath to get past.”
