M2 slip road at A249 Stockbury Roundabout near Sittingbourne blocked by overturned lorry

There are severe delays after a lorry overturned on a motorway sliproad.

The M2 coast-bound exit at the Stockbury roundabout between Sittingbourne^[1] and Maidstone^[2] has been closed since the accident at about 6.30am.

Traffic is very slow moving in the area with queues building as far back as junction 6 on the A249.

Drivers are advised to approach with caution if heading in that direction.
