A 73-year-old man has been left fighting for his life following a crash between a campervan and a motorbike.

Road policing officers are appealing for information following the incident, which occurred on the A87 near Glen Shiel.

The crash, which involved a Triumph motorbike and a Fiat Doblo campervan, happened at 5.20pm on August 25.

Emergency services attended and the 73-year-old man was airlifted to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital where his condition is described as life threatening.
