McDonald’s parking lot crash something to Grimace about: Fairview Park Police Blotter
FAIRVIEW PARK, Ohio
Drunk driving: Lorain Road
At 7:35 p.m. July 26, officers responded to the scene of a car crash in the McDonald’s parking lot.
When officers arrived, they noticed that the driver at fault was displaying signs of alcohol intoxication. The 60-year-old Fairview Park man was unable to successfully complete field sobriety tests and was arrested.
He was taken to police station, where he was issued several citations and released to a sober friend.
Drunk driving: Lorain Road
At 2:55 p.m. July 27, a single-car crash was reported in the Gemini Recreation Center parking lot.
The driver had left the area and was later found at Minotti’s beverage store. The driver appeared to be under the influence of alcohol and was unable to successfully complete field sobriety tests.
The 47-year-old Cleveland man was issued several citations and transported to Fairview Hospital for evaluation.
Drugs: Mastick Road
At 3:31 p.m. July 25, an officer stopped a driver for a traffic violation near Queen Anne’s Way. The driver was found to have a suspended license and appeared to be under the influence of a narcotic.
The 32-year-old Fairview Park woman was unable to successfully complete field sobriety tests and was arrested for operating a vehicle while intoxicated.
She was taken to the police station, where she was issued several citations and released to a sober friend.
Drunk driving: West 210th Street
At 3:44 a.m. July 30, officers stopped a driver for a traffic violation. The driver appeared to be under the influence of alcohol.
The 26-year-old Wellington man was unable to successfully complete field sobriety tests and was arrested.
He was taken to the police station, where he was issued several citations and held until sober.
