Mobile speed cameras in Grimsby and Scunthorpe areas Aug 27 …

The A46 Laceby bypass and a major Cleethorpes route will be visited by mobile speed cameras in the coming days.

The A18 Station Road at Gunness and the A161 at Low Burnham will also be the focus of speed monitoring over the next week. Other routes are due to be visited by enforcement officers across the August Bank Holiday and beyond.

Mobile speed camera vans will focus their attentions at various sites across the region. Safer Roads Humber and Humberside Police enforce cameras around the region to help crack down on speeding motorists.

Drivers can see where the mobile cameras are likely to be situated through the daily enforcement schedule on the Safer Roads Humber website. However, not all locations are listed on the schedule, so motorists should take care and exercise caution when driving in the region. [2]

Mobile speed cameras will be in the following locations in northern Lincolnshire:

  • Sun Aug 27: Sites across the region
  • Mon Aug 28: Sites across the region
  • Tue Aug 29: A18 Station Road, Gunness
  • Wed Aug 30: A161 Low Burnham
  • Thur Aug 31: A46 Laceby by-pass
  • Fri Sept 1: A1098 Taylor’s Avenue, Cleethorpes
  • Sat Sept 2: Sites across the region
  • Sun Sept 3: Sites across the region

For those crossing the Humber Bridge, mobile speed cameras will be coming to:

  • Sun Aug 27: Sites across the region
  • Mon Aug 28: Sites across the region
  • Tue Aug 29: A1174 Woodmansey
  • Wed Aug 30: B1231 Anlaby Road, Hull
  • Thur Aug 31: A614 Thorpe Road, Howden
  • Fri Sept 1: A166 Clay Hill between Brickyard Farm and Garrowby Lodge
  • Sat Sept 2: Sites across the region
  • Sun Sept 3: Sites across the region

Humberside Police, in partnership with Safer Roads Humber, will be at several other sites throughout the week that are not listed above. Humberside Police reserves the right to enforce speed limits on any road, at any time.
