Pedestrian in his 60s dies in A12 crash with lorry

A pedestrian in his 60s has died following a crash in Wrentham.
The A12 was closed in both directions after emergency services were called at 2.35pm on Friday afternoon.[1]
Police and the ambulance service received reports of a collision on the A12 London Road at the junction with Walker Gardens, involving a pedestrian and a DAF lorry.
The pedestrian – a man in his 60s – died at the scene police confirmed on Friday evening.
The A12 was closed for many hours with diversions put in place to take traffic off the A12.
Officers would like to hear from any witnesses to the collision, and are also asking any motorists driving in the area at the time with a dashcam in their vehicle to review the footage for any material that may be of assistance.
