Road delays on the M6 and the A590

The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows there will be three delays in the next two weeks:

• A590, from 8pm August 16 to 6am October 6, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A590 eastbound and westbound, Greenodd Roundabout, traffic signals for Speed limit signage and average speed camera installation.

• M6, from 7pm August 17 to 5am August 18, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M6 northbound and southbound, junction 35 to 36, Lane closures and entry slip road closure for Structures inspection.

• A590, from midday, to 8pm on August 26, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): A590 and M6 jct 36 Heavy traffic and due to Cartmel Races.

National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in its schedule.
