Ronald Ivanoskos ID’d as man found dead inside crashed vehicle in Topsfield
Authorities have identified a man who was found dead inside a crashed vehicle on Route 1 in Topsfield last week as 63-year-old Ronald Ivanoskos, of Topsfield, the Essex County District Attorney’s Office said.
Another driver spotted the crashed vehicle on Route 1 at around 7:30 a.m., Thursday, Aug. 17, the office said in statement.
The unidentified vehicle was believed to be traveling north when it crossed the southbound lane to stop on the west side of the road in the area of 15 Boston St.
Topsfield firefighters found the driver dead, the office said. No other vehicles are believed to be involved.
An investigation into the crash is being led by the Massachusetts State Police Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Section and the Topsfield Police Department.
