Six people killed on Scottish roads over last week

In the Scottish Borders a 64-year-old woman died on Tuesday August 15 following a crash involving three vehicles on the A7 near Ashkirk and two other people, a man aged 65 and woman aged 71 suffered serious injuries.

Elsewhere throughout the country, on Friday August 11, a 35-year-old female motorcyclist died following a crash involving a car and a motorbike on the A89 between the villages of Armadale and Westrigg.

Border Telegraph:

On Monday, August 14, a 58-year-old woman, died following a crash involving a car and a lorry on the B981 near Crossgates in Fife.

Later that day a 43-year-old male motorbike rider died following a single-vehicle, fatal crash in Addiewell, West Lothian.

And on the same day a 72-year-old man and a 64-year-old woman died following a crash involving two motorbikes on the A914 between Balmullo and Dairsie in Fife.

Police Scotland are appealing for witnesses to all of these crashes.
