Speed cameras in Walderslade Road, Chatham, knocked down

A pair of speed cameras have been knocked down on a busy main road.

The damaged cameras on Walderslade Road, Chatham[1] were spotted by Mike Williams earlier today (Wednesday).

Posted on Facebook the floored cameras were a controversial topic, attracting 205 comments and 416 reactions.

Some supported the camera attacks, with one saying “I 100 percent support this haha”.

Another said: “Should do it to all of the cameras.”

But other people were quick to point out that money will have to be spent to replace the cameras.

One said: “Great idea … Not! It will only be replaced by a more advanced camera now.”
