Teenager suffers serious injuries after car crashes into tree

A Southampton[1] teenager has suffered serious injuries after a car crashed into a tree.

Police were called to A3057 between Romsey[2] and Ashfield just after 4.30am on Wednesday.

A red Honda Prelude left the road and crashed into a tree, leaving the 19-year-old male passenger with serious but not life-threatening injuries.

The driver, a 19-year-old man from Romsey, suffered minor injuries.

Hampshire police have turned to the public and appealed for any information about this crash.

The force said: “We are appealing for information and witnesses following a serious injury collision.

“If anyone has any information about this collision, or saw the vehicle at the time of, or just before the incident, please contact us.

“We would particularly like to speak with anyone who has dash-cam footage relevant to our investigation.
