“We have taken stolen vehicle reports about every day the past week in Ada, Grand Rapids, Cascade, Gaines and Byron townships,” sheriff’s Sgt. Eric Brunner said.

“Also four guns are now on the street after they have been left in vehicles that were broken into.”

Police said that a vehicle stolen from Cascade Road SE and Spaulding Avenue in Cascade Township was recently found in Grand Rapids with bullet holes in it.

Police said keys should not be left in vehicles, even if parked in garages. Stolen vehicles and firearms have been used in other serious crimes, police said.
