Triple road crash appeal after M5, A40 and major roundabout collisions

Three separate road collisions, two of which resulted in injury, are subject to a combined police appeal for information. Gloucestershire police[1] has listed three incidents on major roads across the county in recent weeks.

The first collision took place at Elmbridge Court Roundabout, Longlevens, at 4.20pm on Thursday, June 1. A Honda motorcycle and a red car were involved in a collision at the Barnwood turning, resulting in a minor injury to the biker.

A man in his 50s was taken to Gloucestershire Royal Hospital[2] for treatment. Anyone with information should contact Gloucestershire Constabulary quoting incident number 329 of June 1

The second incident was a four-vehicle collision on the A40 between Mitcheldean and Huntley at around 4.50pm on Wednesday, June 21. The incident involved a Ford Focus, a Mini Cooper, a Vauxhall Corsa and a Suzuki motorbike.

The biker was treated for minor injuries. Anybody with information about the collision should quote incident 397 of June 21 when reporting it.

The final collision involved two cars and took place at Junction 11 of the M5 at 4.45pm on Saturday, July 15. The incident happened on the slip road and involved a Vauxhall Crossland and a Ford Fiesta – quote incident number 376 of 15 July if contacting police about this collision.

Officers investigating the collisions would like to hear from anyone who witnessed them or has relevant dashcam footage.
