Two taken to hospital and one arrested after crash on A259

Two people have been taken to hospital after being injured in a three-car crash on the A259.
Police and the ambulance service attended the scene of the incident in Seaford Road, Newhaven at around 6am on Wednesday, August 2.
One driver was taken to hospital with serious injuries.
A second driver has been arrested on suspicion of drug-driving and was also taken to hospital with serious injuries.
Motorists in the area are facing severe delays as the road is still blocked.
There is at least a mile of queues on all approaches and knock-on delays towards Alfriston.
A spokeswoman for Sussex Police said: “A section of the road is currently closed in both directions between Denton Corner roundabout and Marine Parade junction.
“Anyone with information or relevant dashcam footage is asked to report it to police online or via 101, quoting 168 of 02/08.”
