Two-year-old girl dies after being hit by car at holiday park
A two-year-old girl has sadly died after being hit by a car at a holiday park.
Isabella Tucker, from Ronald Street, London[1], was fatally struck by a car at about 6.45pm on Friday (25 August), at Horsley Hale Farm in Littleport, Ely.
It is understood that Isabella and her family were on holiday[2] at the site when the incident occurred, ITV[3] News reports.
In a press release, Cambridgeshire Police said that the toddler was taken by ambulance to Queen Elizabeth Hospital in King’s Lynn, where she tragically died from her injuries.

Police also said that a ’42-year-old woman from the Leeds area was arrested on suspicion of causing death by careless or inconsiderate driving and has been bailed to return to Thorpe Wood Police Station in Peterborough on 24 November’.
The incident is still currently being investigated by police.
In a heartbreaking tribute to her ‘beautiful daughter’, mum[4] Vaida Sprainyte said: “A beautiful daughter and little sister. It’s so easy to love you.
“Loved you from first sight and will love you forever.”
In a statement to Tyla, a spokesperson from Horsley Hale Farm said: “We are absolutely heartbroken at the loss of Isabella Tucker who tragically died after an incident at Horsley Hale Farm on Friday 25th August.
“She and her family are in all our thoughts and prayers at this time and we offer our deepest condolences to all who knew her.

“We would like to pay special tribute to the team of staff working that evening who could not have done more to deal with what was a terribly difficult situation.
“We would also like to thank those medically trained guests staying with us who administered emergency first aid, allowing the Horsley Hale Farm team to look after family members, other guests and effectively get the emergency services on site as soon as possible.
“In partnership with guests staying with us at the time, we have set up a fund to buy and plant a tree in Isabella’s memory.”
According to the park’s website, it is a ‘small, family business’ and offers ‘events, glamping breaks and outdoor educational programs for schools and other youth organisations’.
The site is also set in six-acres of woodland and is situated on Cambridgeshire, Norfolk and Suffolk borders.
Anyone who was at the holiday park at the time and may have witnessed the collision is urged to visit www.cambs.police.uk/report[5] quoting incident 35/NT/16816/23 or alternatively call 101.
Tyla has contacted Cambridgeshire Police for further comment.
