Waddington crash sees two people taken to hospital with ‘potentially serious injuries’
Two people have been taken to hospital[1] after a crash[2] between a car and a van at a busy junction. The incident took place on the B1178 Bloxholm Lane junction, just off the A15 Sleaford Road at Waddington.
Police[3] closed the B1178 in both directions following the collision which led to slow traffic in the area. Officers were called to the crash at around 7.55am on Monday, August 7.
A spokesperson for Lincolnshire Police said: “We received a call at 7.55am today (7 August) reporting a two-vehicle collision on the B1178 at the crossroads with Bloxholm Lane, near Waddington Heath. It involved a car and a van.
“The passenger in the car and the driver of the van were both taken to hospital with potentially serious injuries.”
