A30 in Cornwall blocked for hours after tractor and van crash
Drivers travelling on the A30 in Cornwall faced huge delays yesterday (September 11) after a van and tractor crashed. Police rushed to the incident at around 3pm on the eastbound carriageway near Five Lanes, Launceston[1].
The road was blocked and drivers were being warned of 25-minute long delays. Police say nobody was injured in the collision and the road reopened at around 5.20pm.
In a full statement, a spokesperson for Devon and Cornwall Police[3] told Cornwall Live: “Police were called at 3pm on Monday September 11 following a collision between a tractor and a van on the A30[4] eastbound near Five Lanes, Launceston.
“No injuries reported. The road was blocked eastbound.
“One lane reopened at 4.45pm; carriageway was fully opened by 5.20pm.”
