A34 chaos as curd leak and crash disrupts motorists
The A34 southbound was slow moving near the Hinksey Hill Interchange as an extensive clean-up operation took place to clear the dairy product.
Oil as well as soya curd leaked at around 3.30am from the tanker that was parked in a lay-by.
There were delays of around 30 minutes throughout Wednesday morning with one lane closed while National Highways cleared the mess.
All lanes were finally reopened on the carriageway at around 1.30pm as National Highways thanked the public for their patience.

It stated: “Due to an ongoing incident, one lane of the A34 southbound between Hinksey Hill Interchange and Abingdon[3] North Junction will remain closed this morning.
“If you are travelling in this area, please expect delays through the rush hour and plan to use an alternative route where possible.”
One motorist told the Oxford Mail: “This road always seems to be associated with chaos. It is never plain sailing.”
There was plenty of disruption on the A34 on Wednesday with a lorry overturning on the key route between the M3 and the A303 near Winchester at around 10am.
This closed the road into the afternoon.
