A63 closed after pedestrian involved in collision on Clive Sullivan Way – latest updates
The main road into Hull is closed this morning (Sunday, September 24) after a collision involving a pedestrian.
The A63, also known as Clive Sullivan Way, has been closed since late on Saturday night. Traffic heading into Hull and towards the Humber the Bridge is affected.
In a statement on its website, National Highways said: “The A63 eastbound in East Riding of Yorkshire is closed between the B1231 (North Ferriby) and A15 (Hessle, Hull) due to a collision between a vehicle and a pedestrian.
“Emergency services including Humberside Police are in attendance as well as National Highways Traffic Officers. Traffic caught within the closure is being released past the scene in lane 2. “
Roads and traffic monitoring service reports: “A63 Clive Sullivan Way Eastbound closed due to accident between the B1231 (North Ferriby, Melton) and the A15 (Humber Bridge, Hessle).”
