All the Devon crimes police need help to solve as CCTV released
Sharp-eyed members of the public can assist police in solving crimes currently under investigation in Devon if they recognise any of the people in these CCTV images.
They were captured by CCTV cameras across the county and Devon and Cornwall Police believe they may have key information, which will lead investigators to the perpetrators of a range of crimes, ranging from theft to attempted murder.

Expensive ebike stolen from Plymouth block of flats
Police investigating the theft of a valuable bicycle in Plymouth have issued an image of a man they would like to identify. The bike is worth around £1,000.
(Image: Devon and Cornwall Police)The incident happened when the electric cycle was taken from a communal bike lock-up at a block of flats in Moon Street, near Sutton Harbour. It happened back on June 1, 2023.
The black Engwe electric cycle, which has red and white detail on the frame and wheels, is worth around £1,000. Officers investigating the incident would like to identify the man pictured as they believe he may be able to assist with their enquiries.

Witness sought after alleged attempted murder in Devon seaside town
Police are appealing to identify a possible witness to an alleged attempted murder in North Devon. One man has been charged with two counts of attempted murder and one count of assault occasioning actual bodily harm following an incident in Westward Ho!
(Image: Devon and Cornwall Police)Officers were called to a property in Westward Ho! around 1am on Wednesday, August 16 where they found three people had suffered serious injuries[2]. They were all taken to hospital to be treated.
Police officers are now appealing for the public's help to identify a potential witness who may have information which could assist the investigation. The man pictured is a possible witness and is in no way suspected of any offences, police have stressed.
A spokesperson for Devon and Cornwall Police has said: “Police are appealing for the public’s help to identify a potential witness who may have information which could assist an ongoing investigation. Detectives would like to speak to the man pictured who was in the Westward Ho! Area on the evening of Tuesday 15 August.
“Officers are investigating reports of an assault in Westward Ho! which was reported at around 1am on Wednesday 16 August. The passer-by in the image is a possible witness and is in no way suspected of any offences.
"Drew Davey, a 25-year-old man from Barnstaple has been charged with two counts of attempted murder and one count of assault occasioning actual bodily harm."

Unique gold moon necklace worth £500 stolen in Devon
Police are appealing to the public to help them identify a man they wish to speak to after with the theft of a unique necklace. The gold pendant necklace, depicting a moon face, was custom made.
It is valued at around £500. But was allegedly stolen from The Remarkable Goldsmiths in Foss Street in Dartmouth.
Devon and Cornwall Police have now issued a picture of a man they wish to speak to in connection with the incident. Officers believed he may be able to assist with their enquiries.
A spokesperson for Devon and Cornwall Police said: “Officers are seeking the public’s help to identify this man in connection with the theft of a unique necklace from a Dartmouth shop. A man entered The Remarkable Goldsmiths in Foss Street and removed the necklace from one of the window displays before leaving without paying.
“The gold pendant necklace, depicting a moon face, was custom made in the store and is valued at around £500. Police are investigating the September 15 theft and would like to identify the man pictured as they believe he may be able to assist with their enquiries.”

Plymouth man knocked unconscious in attack outside Fever and Boutique nightclub
A man was knocked unconscious and sustained facial injuries which required hospital treatment in an attack outside a Plymouth nightclub - now police hope to identify a man pictured to assist with enquiries.
The assault happened at about 2.50am on Thursday, July 20, at Fever and Boutique nightclub at Derrys Cross. The victim ended up going to hospital.
Devon and Cornwall Police[5] admit that the quality of the images provided are not very good. But they say these are the only images they have and hope that the public may still be able to assist identify the person who they wish to speak to.
A spokesperson said: “Police investigating a report of assault have released pictures of a man they would like to speak to in connection with the incident. The assault happened around 2.50am on Thursday, July 20, at Fever nightclub, Derrys Cross, Plymouth. A man was knocked unconscious and sustained facial injuries which required hospital treatment.
“Police investigating the incident would like to identify the man pictured as they believe he may be able to assist with their enquiries. We are aware that the quality of the images is low, however at this time these are the only images we have and we hope that the public may still be able to assist.”

Paignton man has Rolex watch stolen by woman who gave him bear-hug
A man had his Rolex watch stolen by two women who gave him a bear-hug. The robbery happened on Garfield Road in Paignton at around 5pm on Friday, September 1.
The victim, a man in his 80s, was approached by two unknown women who asked the victim for directions.
He began to provide them, before one of the women pulled the man towards her in a bear-hug. As this happened, the other woman pulled off his Rolex watch causing him injury to his wrist.
Both women made off from the scene with the watch. Devon and Cornwall Police are appealing for witnesses to come forward.
A spokesperson said: "While we appreciate that the images are not of a high quality, we are still appealing to the public as someone may recognise them. Anyone who has any information is asked to contact us via the website[7] quoting reference number 50230238260 ."
Jewellery stolen from shop in posh seaside holiday resort
Police are seeking the help of the public to identify a man they wish to speak to in connection with a jewellery theft in Dartmouth. The Force has issued images of a man they want to speak to as part of the investigation.
It follows an incident which happened at June 7 at a Dartmouth shop. The Remarkable Goldsmiths, on Foss Street, reported a theft of two items to police.
Two rings were reportedly stolen from the shop. They were rose gold and one yellow gold engraved 9ct rings, worth £400 each.
As part of their inquiry, Devon and Cornwall Police has now released CCTV images of a man they wanted to speak to. Anyone with information can call 101 or visit the police website and quote the reference number 50230171399.
A statement from the force said: "Officers are seeking the public’s help to identify this man in connection with the theft of valuable gold rings from a Dartmouth shop. A person entered The Remarkable Goldsmiths in Foss Street and selected two engraved 9ct gold rings before leaving without paying.
"The rings, one rose gold and the other yellow gold, are worth £400 each. Police are investigating the 7 June theft and would like to identify the man pictured as they believe he may be able to assist with their enquiries."
