Biker taken to hospital with ‘serious injuries’ after crash with lorry on Cambs A-road – live updates

A crash between a lorry and two motorbikes on a Cambridgeshire A-road is causing delays today (Wednesday, September 6). There is congestion on the A141 between Wyton and Woodhurst following the crash.

A Cambridgeshire Police spokesperson said: “We were called at 2.19pm to reports of a collision between a lorry and two motorbikes on the A141 northbound towards Chatteris. Officers attended, together with paramedics, and one of the motorcyclists has been taken to hospital with serious injuries.”

A Cambridgeshire County Council spokesperson said: “A141 Old Hurst Road between Wyton and Woodhurst: Delays in both directions for approximately 1 mile due to a road traffic collision. Please approach with caution and allow extra time for your journey.”

Traffic monitoring system Inrix said the road was partially blocked between the B1090 Sawtry Way and Old Hurst. It said there is slow traffic on the road.
