BMW driver fined for two speeding offences on major district roads

Therese Alice Young, 27 of Eason View, Dringhouses, York was first caught speeding on Wakefield Road, Bradford on May 15, 2022.

A speed camera recorded her driving at 51mph in a 40 mph zone.

The following month on June 14, 2022, she was driving on the M606, slip road to Chain Bar roundabout and was caught driving above the 50mph limit. She was driving at 62mph.

At Bradford and Keighley[1] Magistrates court a collection order was issued for both instances and she was asked to pay a fine of £100 for each driving offence, a surcharge to fund victim services of £34 and costs of £90.

In total she must pay £324 before October 2, 2023.

Her driving record was also endorsed with three points.
