Cambridgeshire A-road closed after crash – live updates
A Cambridgeshire road closed after a crash involving a lorry this morning (Monday, September 18). The A141 was closed in both directions at Spittals Way, causing delays and congestion around Huntingdon.
A police spokesperson said: “We were called with reports of a road traffic collision involving a HGV on the A141 Spittals Way, Huntingdon, at 5.08am today (18 September). The road is currently closed in both directions while recovery takes place. No injuries have been reported.”
Traffic monitoring company Inrix said: “Traffic easing, accident cleared on A141 Spittals Way in both directions from Washingley Road to Stonehill. Road has re-opened just before 11:00.”
A Cambridgeshire County Council spokesperson said: “Huntingdon – A141 Spittals Way between Washingley Road and Stonehill is now OPEN. Earlier delays have started to ease.”
