Car flips onto its roof in three-vehicle crash at motorway junction

POLICE were called to attend a three-vehicle crash which saw a car flip onto its roof.

Cheshire Police’s Roads and Crime Unit has today, Tuesday, been detailing a number of incidents it has attended over recent weeks.

This incident involved two cars and a HGV near to junction eight of the M62 at Burtonwood.

Thankfully, no injuries were sustained during the crash.

A spokesman for Cheshire Police said: “At 7.07pm on Thursday, September 7, police were called to a collision on Skyline Drive, at junction eight of the M62 in Warrington.

“Officers attended and found that the incident involved three cars – a grey Citroen C1, a white Mercedes HGV and a silver Mercedes.

“There were no injuries, but one of the cars had overturned and had to be recovered.”
