Cyclist suffers ‘life-threatening’ injuries in Cleethorpes collision
A cyclist is in hospital with life-threatening injuries following a collision with a car in Cleethorpes.
The crash, which involved a black Audi S3, happened at the junction of Warneford Road and Grimsby Road on Wednesday evening.
Police officers investigating the collision, which happened at about 8.40pm, are now appealing for witnesses or motorists with dashcam footage to come forward.
In a statement, Humberside Police said: “Can you help? A car and cyclist were involved in a collision on Grimsby Road, Cleethorpes at around 8.40pm yesterday evening (Wednesday).
“Officers investigating the collision are appealing for witnesses and dashcam footage after the black Audi S3 and cyclist collided at the junction of Warneford Road. The cyclist sustained life-threatening injuries and was taken to hospital to receive medical treatment.
“We would appeal for anyone who witnessed the collision or has dashcam footage to contact us on our non-emergency number 101 quoting log 577 of September 13.”
