I-94 shut down for crash near Battle Creek
BATTLE CREEK, MI — Eastbound I-94 is shut down for a crash near Battle Creek, Calhoun County 911 reports.
All eastbound lanes of I-94 were closed for a crash at 3:11 p.m. at M-311 (11 Mile Road) and Exit 104, Calhoun County 911 said in a news alert.
Michigan State Police said the crash involved three semitrucks and it resulted in a hazardous material spill. Non-life-threatening injuries were reported, the state police said.
A group of vehicles were observed on a Michigan Department of Transportation traffic camera at the location Thursday, as shown above. The highway remained closed as of 5 p.m.
