Man faces menacing, under the influence charges after back-to-back arrests: North Ridgeville Police Blotter

NORTH RIDGEVILLE, Ohio

Menacing: Center Ridge Road

On Sept. 4, a caller reported a disturbance at a gas station. A suspect was located and charged with menacing, criminal trespass and disorderly conduct-persisting.

The previous day, police had been called to the same location about the same suspect and arrested him on OVI charges.

Hit-skip: Lorain Road

On Aug. 27, police were dispatched for a hit-skip accident. The driver was identified and charged with a traffic violation and for failure to stop after an accident.

Drug investigation: Center Ridge Road

During a traffic stop Sept. 4, police learned that the driver was under suspension and had cocaine in his possession. The suspect was arrested and charged accordingly.

Accident: Bainbridge Road

An officer was dispatched to the academic center Sept. 1 on a report of an accident in which the at-fault driver had left the scene.

After reviewing camera footage from the school bus, the driver was identified. He was charged with operating a vehicle with an expired license and not stopping after an accident.
