Mobile speed cameras in Grimsby and Scunthorpe areas, Sept 24-Oct 1 – including A180 and A1029
Mobile speed cameras will be visiting two stretches of the A180 in the coming days.
Enforcement officers will be checking speeds between the Great Coates junction and Pyewipe roundabout, and between the Lockhill roundabout and Riby Square. Safer Roads Humber and Humberside Police[1] enforce cameras around the region to help crack down on speeding motorists.
Two routes in Scunthorpe and the A159 in Messingham are also due to be visited. Drivers can see where the mobile cameras are likely to be situated through the daily enforcement schedule on the Safer Roads Humber website[2].
However, not all locations are listed on the schedule, so motorists should take care and exercise caution when driving in the region. Mobile speed cameras will be in the following locations in the following locations in Scunthorpe and Grimsby areas.
- Sun Sept 24: Sites across the region
- Mon Sept 25: Brumby Wood Lane, Scunthorpe
- Tue Sept 26: A159 Scotter Road, Messingham
- Wed Sept 27: A180 between Great Coates junction and Pyewipe roundabout
- Thu Sept 28: A180 Cleethorpe Road, Grimsby (between Lockhill roundabout and Riby Square)
- Fri Sept 29: A1029 Brigg Road, Scunthorpe
- Sat Sept 30: Sites across the region
- Sun Oct 1: Sites across the region
For those crossing the Humber Bridge to the North Bank, mobile cameras will be in the following locations:
- Sun Sept 24: Sites across the region
- Mon Sept 25: A614 Driffield to Nafferton
- Tue Sept 26: Marfleet Lane/Marfleet Avenue, Hull
- Wed Sept 27: Quay Road/St John's Street, Bridlington
- Thu Sept 28: B1253 Easton Road, Bridlington
- Fri Sept 29: A614 between Londesborough roundabout and Middleton on the Wolds
- Sat Sept 30: Sites across the region
- Sun Oct 1: Sites across the region
