Mobile speed cameras in Hull and East Yorkshire, Sept 10-17 …

A main road at Dunswell and a number of locations on the A614 will be visited by mobile speed cameras in the coming days.

The A1174 Hull to Beverley route, at Dunswell, will be the focus of speed monitoring enforcement over the next week. Snaith Road at East Cowick, and Weghill Road, at Preston, will also be visited by the mobile speed camera van.

Other sites set to be visited by enforcement officers will include the A614 at Airmyn Road, Goole, and at Holme on Spalding Moor. Safer Roads Humber and Humberside Police[1] enforce cameras around the region to help crack down on speeding motorists. Drivers can see where the mobile cameras are likely to be situated through the daily enforcement schedule on the Safer Roads Humber website[2].

However, not all locations are listed on the schedule, so motorists should take care and exercise caution when driving in the region. Mobile speed cameras will be in the following locations in Hull and East Yorkshire.

  • Tue Sept 12: A614 Airmyn Road, Goole
  • Wed Sept 13: Weghill Road, Preston

  • Sat Sept 16: Sites across the region
  • Sun Sept 17: Sites across the region

For those crossing the Humber Bridge, mobile vans will be at the following locations on the South Bank:

  • Mon Sept 11: A46 Laceby Road, Grimsby
  • Tue Sept 12: B1398 North Cliff Road, Kirton in Lindsey
  • Wed Sept 13: A18 Doncaster Road, Gunness (60mph)
  • Thu Sept 14: A18 Barton Street South, between B1203 Ashby Top rbt and county border
  • Fri Sept 15: A18 Main Road, Melton Ross
  • Sat Sept 16: Sites across the region
  • Sun Sept 17: Sites across the region

Humberside Police, in partnership with Safer Roads Humber, will be at several other sites throughout the week that are not listed above. Humberside Police reserves the right to enforce speed limits on any road, at any time.
