Motorbiker dies in fatal crash with van outside doctor’s surgery

A motorbiker has died in a fatal crash outside a doctor’s surgery. The 63-year-old man couldn’t be saved after the collision on the A4111 Eardisley Road in Kington, near the Worcestershire[1] border.

He was travelling on a Suzuki GSXR motorbike when it hit a white Renault Master van. The tragedy was outside Kington Medical Practice at 2.25pm yesterday, Friday September 29.

Police have appealed for anyone in the area at the time who had seen the motorbike, van or crash to help them with their investigation. It took place on the edge of the historic market town, on the road that leads towards Spond.

A West Mercia Police[3] spokesperson said: “We’re appealing for witnesses and dash-cam footage following a two-vehicle collision in Kington yesterday afternoon where a man sadly died.

“The collision happened at 2.25pm on the A4111 Eardisley Road, outside Kington Medical Practice, and involved a white Renault Master van and a Suzuki GSXR motorcycle.

“The rider of the motorcycle, a 63-year-old man, sadly died of his injuries.

“We’d like to hear from anyone who was in the area at the time and may have witnessed the collision or have dash-cam footage of it.
