Motorcyclist in hospital ‘with serious injuries’ after crash in Wells

A MOTORCYCLIST has been taken to hospital after a crash in Wells.
The collision between a Triumph motorcycle and a Peugeot 208 took place earlier this month, on September 3, on the A371.
The motorcyclist, in his 30s, is in hospital with serious injuries, Avon and Somerset Police said.
The force is now appealing for the public’s help and is looking for CCTV footage.
A police spokesperson said: “We are appealing for witnesses and dashcam footage following a road traffic collision earlier this month.
“At 2.25pm on Sunday, September 3, a Peugeot 208 and a Triumph motorcycle collided on the A371 near the Titlands Lane junction in Wells.
“The rider, a man in his 30s, was taken to hospital, where he remains, with serious injuries.
“If you have any information, witnessed the collision, or have any relevant footage, please contact us.”
