Newquay crash sees overturned van blocks road
A recovery vehicle has been sent to the scene of a crash in Newquay[1] which left a van on its side blocking the road. The single-vehicle collision took place earlier today, September 24, on the A3059.
The road has now been cleared and traffic has returned back to normal. A photograph of the scene has been shared on social media by police.
It shows a damaged white van resting on its side and skid marks near an embankment of trees. It has been confirmed that no one has been injured.
A tweet on the page of Devon and Cornwall Roads Policing Team, posted at around 12.45pm today, it states: “#A3059[2] #Newquay[3], Single vehicle RTC, non-injury. Another reminder to drive to the conditions, road now clear.”
