Recap: M5 reopen after multi-vehicle crash in Bristol

A lane was closed on the M5 yesterday evening (September 19) following a crash. The incident was reported on the motorway near Bristol.

According to traffic^[1] monitoring website Inrix, the crash happened between junctions 18 (M49) and 19 (Portishead^[2]). Inrix added the crash occurred on the Devon-bound side of the motorway and involved a car, van and lorry.

The lane reopened overnight and traffic has now returned to normal.
