Vintage ambulance driver left with serious injuries after M5 crash

A WITNESS appeal has been launched following a collision between a vintage army ambulance and stationary HGV on the M5.
The incident took place on the M5 northbound between junctions eight and seven at about 12.10pm on Friday (September 22).
Officers say the vintage army ambulance collided with a stationary HGV on the hard shoulder resulting in the driver of the ambulance receiving serious injuries.
Anyone who witnessed the incident, including any motorists on the road at the time with dash-cam footage, is asked to come forward.
