Drunk driving, Lake Road
On Oct. 1 at 2:45 a.m. an officer stopped a driver for a traffic violation. After speaking with the driver, the officer suspected he had been drinking. Field sobriety tests were administered, and the 27-year-old Westlake resident was arrested.
Suspicious, Lake Road
On Sept. 30 a resident reported damage to a window. While doing yard work, the resident noticed his front window was broken. Upon closer inspection, he discovered it had been shot with a BB gun. Officers are investigating.
Disturbance, Electric Blvd.
On Sept. 30 at 12:40 a.m. a resident reported a loud party. Officers found the party, and advised the homeowners of the complaint.
Drunk driving, Lake Road
On Sept. 29 at 12:05 a.m. an officer stopped a driver for several traffic violations. After speaking with the driver, the officer suspected he had been drinking. Field sobriety tests were administered, and the 65-year-old Westlake resident was arrested.
Suspicious, Woodpark Lane
On Sept. 29 at 9:57 p.m. a resident reported he saw a man with a flashlight in his mouth attempting to gain entry to a house on Woodpark. Officers found the man at the back of the house. He was a locksmith replacing the lock for a house sitter that had locked herself out of the house. This was confirmed by the homeowners.
Accident, Lincoln Road
On Sept. 28 at 9:09 p.m. a resident reported hearing what sounded like a gunshot, and discovering a broken window in her house. Responding officers looked at the window, and discovered it had been shot. After conducting an investigation, it was determined a neighbor had accidentally fired his hand gun in his house. The bullet exited through the side of his house and struck the neighbor’s window. The 75-year-old man was charged with discharging firearms, and will face charges. No one was injured during the incident.
