Long M6 delays live as Spaghetti Junction crash shuts lanes

Motorists are facing long delays on the M6 this morning. It follows a crash between a car and a van.

The collision happened between J6 A38 Tyburn Road at Spaghetti Junction to J5 A452 for Castle Bromwich. The National Highways said there are delays of 45 minutes in six miles of congestion.

Traffic info provider Inrix said: “Long delays and two lanes closed due to accident, a car and a van involved on M6 Southbound from J6 A38 Tyburn Road (Spaghetti Junction) to J5 A452 (Castle Bromwich). Congestion to J8 (Great Barr). Lane two and three (of three).”
