North Charleston police seeking help identifying suspect in fatal pedestrian hit-and-run crash
North Charleston police are seeking help from the public in identifying a vehicle suspected of hitting a pedestrian the night of Oct.
27 and fleeing the scene. The pedestrian, 53-year-old Anibal Agustin Aguilar Gomez of Charleston, died several hours later from the injuries caused in the 8:30 p.m. collision at the intersection of Remount Road and Corner Avenue. The North Charleston Police Department released a photograph of the vehicle, which they suspect is a black Ford F150 SuperCrew, manufactured between 1999 and 2008.
The truck has aftermarket HID headlights, a pinstripe below the windows, running boards and a large toolbox in the truck bed.
It could have damage on the right front side, according to the police department.
