Police appeal for witnesses to collision on M25, Enfield

Police were called at around 8.50pm yesterday (October 7) to an area between junctions 24 and 25 on the M25 near Enfield, after reports a dark volkswagen touran had collided with a horse box towed by a van.

The horse box, carrying two five-month old foals, overturned and the driver left the scene, police said.

A horse was killed in the crash and the second had to be put down due to injuries it suffered.

There have been no arrests and enquiries continue, police added.[2]

Officers[3] from the Roads and Transport Policing Command are investigating and would like to speak with anyone who saw the crash or captured it on dash cam.
