Resident reports harassment by drone: Brunswick Police Blotter
BRUNSWICK, Ohio
Neighbor complaint, Simons Drive
Police responded to a complaint from a resident at 7:10 p.m. Sept.
18 that his neighbor was harassing him by continuously flying his drone over the caller's residence. The neighbor provided police with a current certificate of aircraft registration and was found not to be in violation of any related city ordinances.
Impaired driver, Center Road
Police were called to a Taco Bell restaurant at 1:06 a.m.
Sept.
17 for an intoxicated driver in the drive-thru. The driver showed impairment on field sobriety tests and refused a breath test. He was cited for operating a motor vehicle while impaired and was released.
Traffic crash/impaired driver, Center Road
Police responded to crash on Center Road at 10:42 a.m.
Sept.
17. One of the drivers reported that the other driver struck his vehicle in the rear and appeared to be under the influence due to his behavior. The at-fault driver failed field sobriety tests and refused a chemical blood-alcohol level test.
He was arrested for operating a motor vehicle while impaired and issued citations for the accident.
Impaired driver, Oxford Drive
Police were dispatched to the area of Pearl Road near Center Road for a report of a reckless operation, traveling southbound from Strongsville at 2:46 a.m. Sept.
17. Brunswick Hills Township Police officers located the vehicle and observed multiple traffic violations and pulled the driver over on Oxford Drive.
A Brunswick Police officer responded to the scene of the stop and the driver, a Strongsville man, admitted to drinking and failed field sobriety tests.
He later failed a breath test and was cited and released to a sober party.
