Single-vehicle crash in Saint-Louis de Kent claims life of 28-year-old PEI man

A 24-year-old man is dead following a single-vehicle crash in Saint-Louis de Kent.

Mounties say the single-vehicle crash last Saturday on Cap Saint Louis Rd. is believed to have occurred when the driver of a pickup truck lost control of the vehicle and entered the ditch.

The driver, a 24-year-old man from Albion, PEI, died at the scene, while a 28-year-old man, and only other passenger of the pickup, was transported to the hospital with what are believed to be minor injuries.

The crash is believed to have occurred when the driver lost control of the vehicle and entered the ditch.

An autopsy will be conducted to determine the man's exact cause of death.

Police continue to investigate.
