Somerset mobile speed cameras live

Hundreds of mobile speed camera units will be out in force across Somerset this week as police continue their crackdown on speeding drivers. Avon and Somerset Police will locate the enforcement units across large parts of the force are in an on-going attempt to improve road safety in and around Somerset and Bristol.

Mobile vans and other units will be in place, monitoring the speeds of motorists and catching those going too fast.

Motorists who break the speed limit run the risk of a fine, penalty points or having to attend a speed awareness course, while serious violations could see them in court and facing a driving ban. Speeding is one of the fatal four driving dangers, along with mobile phone use, not wearing a seatbelt and drink and drug driving. Here are the locations for the week commencing Monday, October 16.

Drivers are warned that enforcement may still take place in places not listed below and to drive according to the speed limit at all times.
