Tributes have been left at the scene to Polite, described by family as the 'kindest, most loving soul' in a fundraiser[3] launched to cover the sudden and unexpected costs for his loved ones.

Local mum Emma Vassel, whose son is a close friend of Mr Moyo's, said: 'In the early hours of yesterday morning he (her son) lost two of his very close friends.

'Another is in intensive care following a road traffic collision on the ring road near Moortown in Leeds.

'Four families have been devastated by this tragic incident and many, many friends, who are all now trying to navigate this huge loss.

'No family should lose their children. No one should have to deal with the loss of their friends like this.

'Two lovely young people at the start of their adult lives with so much to live for, to have that cut short in such a tragic way, it is truly heartbreaking.

'In particular, no family should have to deal with the loss of their son and also the added worry of financial burden.

'Polite's brother has set up a go fund me to pay funeral costs and give Polite the send off he deserves.'

Prince Moyo, Polite's brother, wrote on the fundraiser: 'My name is Prince Moyo and I as well as family and friends have lost the kindest, most loving soul Polite Moyo.

'My wish is to give him the best possible send off that he deserves. Any donations would be greatly appreciated, thank you.'

Flowers have been left at the scene, including one with a note addressed to 'Mayar and Polite'.

Friends wrote: 'We can't believe you'r gone. You will always be in our hearts and we will never stop missing you. Sleep well Angels x. Love from all your friends.'

The female victim's tragic mum left a card saying: 'My sweet angel. You are not only my daughter. You are my friend and my sister.

'I can't believe we will not have our daily long chats again. But I promise I will always send you love. Love you and miss you already my angel.'

Another touching tribute, believed to have left by a younger sibling, read: 'I don't know who I'll go to when I want to keep secrets from mum and dad.'

Other tributes included: 'Polite -such a beautiful boy. Happy memories. God bless you and your family.'

Another devastated pal adde:'I knew Polite and I saw him as my older and little brother. He lived up to his name and always put a smile on everyone's face. He was that one bright shining star on a clear calm night.'
