Woman aged 19 has now died after A52 crash at Swaton crossroads
A 19-year-old woman has died after being involved in a serious crash.
The woman was a passenger in a Citroen Xsara that was involved in a three-vehicle collision on the A52[1] on Wednesday afternoon.
She was one of four people taken to hospital[2] following the crash, which occurred just before 3.30pm at the Swaton crossroads with the B1394.

A Lincolnshire Police spokesman said: “We are saddened to confirm that the 19-year-old female passenger in the Citroen has died. Her family are being supported at this difficult time.
“We continue to appeal for witnesses and anyone with any dashcam footage to get in touch with us if they haven’t already done so.

The crash also involved a white Peugeot Boxer van and a grey Mercedes-Benz E Class car.
The drivers of the Citroen and Mercedes were also said to have suffered serious injuries but their current condition is unknown.
The stretch of the A52 in question was shut for the rest of the day and did not open until the early hours of Thursday morning following the collision.
