A Northamptonshire Police[3] spokeswoman said: “The driver of a grey Ford Fiesta car collided with the rear of a red Vauxhall Combo van. This caused the driver of the van to collide with the driver of a white MAN lorry travelling in the opposite direction and a stationary white Volvo car. “Sadly, the driver of the van, a woman in her 60s, died at the scene.

The occupants of the other vehicles were not injured.” Police are now appealing for witnesses. Officers would like to hear from anyone who may have witnessed the incident or who may have dash cam footage of the collision.
