A2 London-bound closed between Canterbury Road, Faversham to M2 J7 at Brenley Corner in Boughton-under-Blean after crash involving motorbike and van

A major road has shut following a multi-vehicle crash. The A2 London-bound has closed between Canterbury Road at Dunkirk to Brenley Corner at junction 7 of the M2 at Faversham.

It is reportedly due to a crash involving a motorbike and a van. Drivers are facing severe delays following the incident with some saying they have been stuck for more than 40 minutes.

Queues from the crash scene are tailing back to the Harbledown junction at Canterbury.

It is also affecting passengers wishing to use Stagecoach bus services on the 3 and X3 services. They are being diverted via Blean and Thanet Way. It is not yet known whether anyone has been injured in the crash.
