A30 crash: Man fighting for his life after collision with lorry in East Devon
A man has suffered life-threatening injuries in crash in East Devon this morning (November 22). Investigating officers from Devon and Cornwall Police are now appealing for information on the collision. Emergency services were called to the A30 near Monkton at around 6.15am.
The crash involved a grey BMW and a brown articulated lorry. The driver of the of the BMW, a man aged in his 50s from the Sidmouth[1] area, sustained serious life-threatening injuries. He was rushed to Derriford Hospital in Plymouth[2].
The driver of the articulated lorry, a man aged in his 40s from Saltash, was un-injured. The road was closed while an investigation was carried out at the scene. Police are now keen to hear from witnesses or anyone with relevant dashcam footage.
They are urging anyone with relevant information to get in touch.
