A38 live updates as road closed after lorry leaves carriageway
Commuters in Derbyshire this morning faced severe delays after a road traffic accident. An accident on the A38 southbound between Alfreton and Ripley[1] blocked the road for around two hours. Traffic monitoring site Inrix[2] reported that a lorry left the carriageway.
Derbyshire Live has approached Derbyshire police to see if anyone was injured. The road was blocked and traffic was stopped. The incident was first reported around 8.45am this morning (Wednesday, November 1).
